Oddity Central: Olive - The First Cinema Film Shot... →
Movie studios better watch out! I think soon there will be a way for indies to make money and get widespread exposure. Kind of like what’s happening in the publishing world. If anything, something needs to happen in Hollywood. I’m getting tired of this sequel/ remake bullshit. odditycentrall: It had to happen sooner or later. Olive is the world’s first feature film of...

New years resolutions
Ok, so I don’t usually do this, make resolutions and all. At least not officially, but seeing as how this is the last year before the world ends, why the hell not? 2011 was not the best year for me, or for many people. Hopefully ‘12 will be better. At least that’s what I’d like to think, and if anything, starting off with hope is a pretty good thing! So, here goes: ~I...

People don’t go to the movies based on what camera you used to shoot it, what computer you edited it on. They go for the story, the escape. Sometimes they go for the actors. Hell, even I’ll admit sometimes I go for the explosions. Tell me a good story and I wouldn’t care if you shot it on a cell phone camera.

WatchWatch
owsposters: A video is not in our normal purvey - this is our first, and others will remain rare - but this is just too important of a message. In just seconds, former Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm really nails a core issue over which Occupy* movements simply must push reform: corporations are currently legally obligated in U.S. law to behave in ways that greatly damage the vast majority...

2011 In LEGO Photos →
This year (that’s 2011 for those of you who are time travelers from the future who have yet to come across a newspaper or frantically ask someone “Quick! What year is it?”) has been pretty damn crazy. There were riots in London, Obama got Osama, and a cop pepper sprayed a bunch of peaceful protesters […]
